Abscess pain unbearable

Yes the antibiotics can cause tooth pain :D if you stop taking them your teeth might improve. Swelling and pus form around the tooth and hit the nerves pretty har making for what could be unbearable pain for you. Obviously, infection associated with an abscessed tooth is very serious, and it’s important that you see your family dentist as soon as possible. A gum abscess is also known as a periodontal abscess. It can be quite painful and if left untreated can result in serious complications.


Many people do not notice that they already have a gum abscess until the pain becomes too unbearable.

There are, however, early telltale signs of gum abscesses. The pain when swallowing may feel unbearable. You might also have pain when opening your mouth.


An abscessed tooth , if ignore can result in the infection of not only the tooth but the jaw and other body parts. One could also develop sepsis, which is an infection that is life-threatening as it spreads through the entire body. Emergency room can be costly sometimes but if your dental insurance covers for your dental plan then you don’t have to worry so much.

Your only hope other than extraction or root canal treatment is taking infection medicine. The exposed dying nerve will cause SEVERE pain until the nerve dies. Tooth pain is the worst fucking pain ever! I think the pain is the worst whilst the nerve in the tooth is inflamed and dying.
