Tooth pain out of nowhere

One can be toothache related to wisdom teeth that have not come through the gum completely and can get infected and have swelling and pain , known by dentist as pericoronitis. The other reason can be that you have developed decay that has reached the nerve house of the tooth and has caused the nerve to get inflamed and hence the pain and sleepless nights. Wisdom tooth pain can sometimes come out of nowhere , suddenly erupting overnight without warning.

On the other han wisdom tooth pain can also come on slowly and gradually, and can be shrugged off or perhaps mistaken for something else. A major thing to keep in mind is that just because a tooth dosent hurt, dosent mean there isn’t any cavities. Worst of all, jaw pain can seem like it comes out of nowhere !

Everyone’s had one of those days where they wake up and feel their jaw throbbing immediately. It’s not much fun to wake up to. Despite how it seems, however, jaw pain never really comes from nowhere. Sometimes when you have deep fillings that are close to the nerve it can upset the nerve or even hit the nerve. Sometimes teeth recover and sometimes teeth seem ok for a while, then the nerve starts hurting.

The inflammation still occurs, however, so pain is caused as the swelling pushes against the outer enamel. This explains why toothaches are so excruciating, and why they’re rather unique. A toothache—described as any pain , soreness , or ache in or around a tooth—can be a frustrating and unpleasant experience.

In addition to a sharp or dull pain , your tooth may be sensitive to temperature or painful when chewing or biting.

I have tooth pain as well. Most of the time all of my teeth hurt, sometimes just the tops or bottoms. I thought all of my teeth were rotting out or something! But it turns out it has nothing to do with my teeth at all! All of these conditions have teeth pain as a symptom.

There are a number of ways in which you can minimise the pain of an abscessed tooth while you wait for your dental appointment. To reiterate, these pain methods should not be used as a substitute for proper dental treatment. If you have an abscess, call your dentist immediately and schedule a check-up. It may appear to you out of nowhere, but rest assured it came from somewhere but you don’t yet know why. One example is tooth sensitivity which can happen very gradually over a lifetime, and one day it just “appears” as if out of nowhere, but it has been quietly building up for years.

It’ll start out slow, maybe, as a dull throb, but it amps up very quickly. The telltale symptoms of an abscessed tooth is pain that you can’t ignore. The pain can vary from an annoying, but tolerable, throbbing pain to a shooting pain that brings you to your knees, the emergency room, or both. We typically think of allergies as the cause of sneezing attacks, itchy eyes and runny noses.

But the same processes in our bodies that create these common reactions, can also lead to aching or sensitive teeth. I did some research and the symptoms line up with those of a wisdom teeth coming out. Some people feel it on both sides.

When that happens, it’s called bilateral trigeminal neuralgia.

A constant toothache is a sign of a damaged nerve or blood vessel. Sometimes, it won’t hurt when you bite down on the tooth, but you’ll feel the pain once you release the bite. That can cause you to have a horrible tooth ache-to- teeth sensitive to cold. Watch your symptoms, put your head upside down between your knees and if you feel it flare up then your symptoms lead to sinus. Take a non-prescription, over-the-counter pain reliever, like ibuprofen, every few hours.

It can happen on either side, top or bottom and just seems to come out of the blue. Would be really grateful if anyone else knows what this could be.
