Oragel (severe strength). Mouthwash (let that fucker burn). Then got covered for a while and went to a dentist and he tortured my poor mouth and pulled it out.
Turns out, the pain was from a tooth that had gone septic, and the bacteria were building up underneath it. The pressure was causing the pain. The pain stopped when the bacteria burst into my gums because of the pressure.
I got a root canal and some seriously strong antibiotics to take care of the infection. Sounds like an infection. Go to the hospital (if possible), they can give you an iv with pain killers , antibiotics and steroids to help with the swelling , if any. This happened to me about a month ago and once the infection cleared up I was fine until I could get the tooth removed.
Obviously if the tooth can be save a root canal is always preferred over an extraction. They ended up pulling two teeth , a wisdom and a back molar, fixed two broken teeth up with crowns, and did many fillings. I live in the USA and cannot afford insurance to get it fixed. I have had ended up crying a few times over the pain in the past few weeks.
Before getting a prescription, and the antibiotics have been the best thing so far, whiskey has been the best pain reliver.
Dont swish it, drink it. Swishing did nothing but getting buzzed killed the pain for hours. Tooth is too far gone though and its being pulled June 14. You can ease the pain of a toothache, but only a dentist can actually fix whatever is wrong. A tooth in a different part of the mouth can hurt but not be the problem tooth, but referred pain. The aching pain in tooth seems tame a rare light ache here and there.
