Some people may experience teeth pain on the left side of the upper jaw, lower jaw or both. Such people may also experience pain in the back of the left jaw. Some of the symptoms of teeth pain on the left side of the mouth can range from simple discomfort to high-intensity pain. It is called the massater. There is one on each side of your face.
If you have pain on the top and bottom teeth on one whole side of your mouth there is a very good chance that the massater muscle is to blame.
Toothache can appear to move around and can refer from bottom to top or vice versa but usually, in time, localises to one tooth. If it is referring from t-b or b-t it usually is at the same kind of point so directly above or directly below where the problem is IYSWIM. All my teeth on left hand side ache! I have had some sinus congestion. History of dental work on the top tooth. First time ever had pain on the bottom. The incisors never touch each other. Adults typically have permanent teeth.

Believe it or not, this kind of dental pain can be sinus-related. Your upper back teeth share the same nerves as your sinus cavity. As a result, that pain can be referred to your teeth and vice versa.
However, the other possibility is that you are clenching your jaw and grinding your teeth.
They often have “trigger points” or areas that are tender and can even refer pain to the affected teeth. It radiates from the top right teeth to the bottom and even back where my molars are and sends shooting pain through my cheek and jaw. Chronic Toothache: If one or more of your teeth is affected by chronic pain , nerve damage could be the cause.
Nerve damage may result from teeth grinding, severe tooth decay or trauma to the teeth through injury. Intense, Throbbing Pain : Intense, throbbing pain , sometimes accompanied by a swollen face, is often a sign of an infection or abscess. Its usually felt on just one side of your mouth and the pain can come on suddenly. It might also be a tooth infection but you shouldnt have pain top and bottom , which is why i say its prob your jaw joint.
Kohlitz on can lower tooth infection cause pain in upper teeth: We call this referred pain. When bad it is very very painful.
