Can you go to the ER for tooth pain? Do urgent cares have dentist? When tooth pain is an emergency? Emergency rooms are for medical emergencies therefore, it will not be worth wasting your time and money.


If you know your toothache can be taken care by some local dentist then better buy over-the-counter pain killers to alleviate the pain. Next you can take immediate appointment to see your dentist.

For minor tooth pain , however, you can simply visit your dentist and have them look at the problem area. If you truly do not have a tooth pain emergency , it will save you time and money to instead take over-the-counter pain medication and make an appointment with your dentist. Going to the emergency room can be costly.


Your best course of action is to reach out to your regular dentist to see if you can drop by for an analysis and treatment. Alternatively, you can visit with an emergency dentist who will alleviate your pain without delay. I work in an Emergency Room , and we see these all the time. Er can not pull teeth or do dental work.


People come to the ER for the silliest things ,and most of them are on government assitance medicaid. If there is a dental school near you they will pull the tooth for little money. Where I live to have a tooth pulled by a proper dentist can cost about 1dollars. In the meantime put clove oil on the tooth.


Also brush your teeth with tea tree oil on the toothpaste.
