Wisdom tooth pushing other teeth pain

Can wisdom teeth move other teeth? What causes wisdom tooth impaction? Why does wisdom tooth hurt? How painful are wisdom teeth? As your wisdom teeth come in, they can push against your other teeth and make them move.


This in turn can cause discomfort in your jaw, so it feels stiff, sore and difficult to open.

Swollen and Inflamed Gums – Another symptom of wisdom teeth growing is swollen and inflammed gums. As the wisdom tooth is trying to break in through the gums, the gums become swollen and red causing acute pain. There can be bleeding also from gums.


Due to gum pain in that area, there is difficulty in swallowing. Consequently, some general dentists, orthodontists and oral surgeons recommend the extraction of wisdom teeth as a preventative measure to safeguard against the recurrence of crowding after orthodontic treatment. Place a drop or two on cotton pellet and place it on the tooth which has chipped. Also avoid eating, hot, spicy and hard food. Donot brush hard or chew hard foods from that area.


Problems caused by impacted wisdom teeth include: Infection. When an impacted wisdom tooth starts to push through the gum,. Pressure from the wisdom tooth may cause pain in the tooth next to it.


A wisdom tooth may push nearby teeth out of their correct position.
